When your intimate partner has experienced domestic violence and/or sexual violence it can be overwhelming. In addition to dealing with your emotions surrounding what has happened to your partner, you’ll likely have questions about how to respond to your partner’s emotions. There could also be implications for your relationship. Albion Fellows Bacon Center is here to help!
Domestic and sexual violence not only impacts the person who has experienced it, but their intimate partners, too. We recognize that these “secondary victims” can benefit from receiving services. Our crisis counseling program can help secondary victims work through their own feelings surrounding what has happened, as well as work on tools that will help lend support to the primary victim.
