The Crisis Counseling Program serves individuals ages 12 and older who have experienced domestic and/or sexual violence. Advocates also work with friends and family members providing them with tools on how to help their loved one. The program is completely confidential and advocates are specially trained to address the safety needs and concerns of those impacted by domestic and sexual violence.
This service helps victims talk through their experiences and share their story and the impact it has had on them with advocates trained in trauma response. This can be a one-time safety planning and information gathering session or can be a more in-depth multi-session approach. For clients requiring services extending beyond the scope of our services, therapeutic resources may be a better option and referrals can be given.
